Just finished my wife's 2011 Forester XT brakes Sunday. She has well over 124k miles and that was the factory pads. Not bad Subaru! The easiest brake job I think I have ever done. Replaced my daughter's timing belt/component set on her 2010 Impreza today. I keep on I will be a part time Subaru mechanic!

Yes it does, and for the most part Subarus are easy to work on. Biggest issue I had was getting that new AC stretch belt on. I used a piece of cut milk carton. Work great on my wife's Forester a year ago. About kicked my butt on my daughter's Impreza. I rechecked to make sure it was the right belt.
