The Dude
Has anyone ever removed the front bumper cover on a 2006 Forester? The driver's side headlight housing is 2/3 full of water. Apparently to get to the headlight housing I have to remove the front bumper cover. Any help would be appreciated.
Subaru Scott
DUDE! 2/3 full, you should be able to just pull the bulb out and get most of it out. Then just tape a small hose to a wetvac to suck out the rest. Then look for where the waters getting in and seal that up.
CNY_Dave
My son has an '06 forester, there is a lot of condensation in both headlights. No lakes in there yet though.
1 Lucky Texan
I had to use some polyseamseal or similar to push into the seam on top of the OBW's left tail light. seems to have stopped the infiltration so far.
Fairtax4me
Drill a 1/8" hole in the lowest corner in the bottom of the lens. thook44
drill the hole. had to do that with my 4runner headlights....although in the housing since the lens is glass. sealed up everywhere else with rtv, but now not even condensation can build up. the heat from the lamp keeps it burned off
