Guest jclay
Hi all, My front driver side wiper is completely stripped, (94 legacy)unfortunately, its not just the ridges on the inside of the wiper arm, it seems that the whole bolt/spindle is loose or stripped from whatever its connected to internally. how does one go about replacing either the entire motor or the internal linkages? i was looking last night, and could not find anyway to even access the linkages due to the piece of metal that the wiper spindles protrude from. short of removing the hood mounts, i didn't see any way to open that compartment. as always, any input will be greatly appreciated. jared
Setright
My Haynes manual will have it, wait for me while I dig it up in the cellar!
Setright
Okay! Pop off the caps on the wiper arm, undo the nut, remove the wiper arms. You might want to mark their positions for re-assembly. Then "carefully pry" the grille off, it's secured by plastic clips/ rivets all the way around. No need to remove the bonnet/hood.
