jono Posted December 16, 2017 Share Posted December 16, 2017 Subaru used to specify the capacity of the radiator in the cooling system section with the EA81 and forgot to include it in factory manual for the EA82 likely coz it was less Anyone have an ej factory manual with that spec please? GeneralDisorder Posted December 16, 2017 Share Posted December 16, 2017 Nearly all EJ's are about 1.5 gallons system capacity. 6 cylinder models tend to be closer to 2 gallons. Capacity isn't all there is to cooling efficiency. It's all about surface area. More modern radiators have smaller tubes and higher fin density.
