Naked Buell Posted December 23, 2017 Share Posted December 23, 2017 Hey guys, like everyone who has an "EA" knows that the whole wiper motor situation just plain "sucks". I still have the original stainless steel blade holders, that most people replaced with the universal things years ago. jono Posted December 24, 2017 Share Posted December 24, 2017 Youd be a bit dry after thirty years of no lubrication!! I removed cowling grille panel and removed pivot of one end, cleaned it all up greased it, greased the other without pulling it out. Think I drilled a lube hole in the side. Work an absolute dream. Were you set the wiper to rest on the bottom against the windshield gasket and it still sometimes wants to hit the driver's side gasket during the stroke. bratman2 Posted December 24, 2017 Share Posted December 24, 2017 Speed wise mine are still good thankfully. But if I turn mine to high they will bump the gasket at the top so I never use high. jono Posted December 25, 2017 Share Posted December 25, 2017 just after helping someone learn difference between seals, gaskets and O rings you go and call a screen seal a gasket !!
