All_talk Posted June 24, 2004 Share Posted June 24, 2004 I think the model change came in '86 so I dont think the '85 will fit an '87, someone else may know more. Related question (semi-hijack): Are all L-series windshields the same? Will one from a wagon fit in a 3-door? They look the same but seem to measure a bit different. Turbone Posted June 24, 2004 Share Posted June 24, 2004 Yes, but the top corners might be a hair different. I have done the same replacement, but going the other way with years. The 4 corners may seem the same but they are in pairs (top/bottom) and they are at a very slight different angle. (there is a rare molding that is only 4 pieces. Top, 2 top corners and the sides/bottom/bottom corners all one piece. Rarely seen!) Are you thinking of doing it yourself? Any experience? If not, you will want to reconsider. If not, you will want to reconsider. no, i am not going to attempt the change, i was going to have a shop do it. i was just wonderi9ng if i could save on parts by using that glass. thanks.
