05legacygtstage2
I recently bought a 05 legacy gt. It was stage 2 when I bought it. Catless down pipe, after market up pipe, full Cobb intake including intake Manifold , Cobb access port and straight pipe exhaust. It ran great at first. Now it is sputtering real bad around 5 psi. I took it to a shop and they can’t find anything wrong with it. I have seen on some of these forms that a lot of people have had this problem with stage 2 but not any Solutions. The only code on the car are about the manifold. I’m wondering it that’s not the problem. Anyone have any thoughts or advice? Thanks
GeneralDisorder
You need to go to a proper tuner shop. Any old shop is not going to be able to diag that car. Off the top of my head - change the plugs and coil packs. But you may have other issues. What code specifically is it throwing? GD
1 Lucky Texan
you might consider a conversation with user west_minist at www.subaruoutback.org - he has helped folks tune their XTs. also, traildogck is an XT fan over there.
05legacygtstage2
It also has a sti turbo
wtdash
And what are the codes? An sti turbo means it's been completely re-plumbed from stock for the TMIC....due to the turbo's outlet. Even more likely something's leaking air...aka VAC LEAK. Edited February 9, 2018 by wtdash

naru
I`d check fuel pressure while driving. Flow test at 5+ psi too. Edited February 10, 2018 by naru
05legacygtstage2
I think I’m gonna try a different shop next week. I’ll post if I get any info from them.
