heartless
Can one use a fuel pump meant for the multi port EFI on a single port EFI??? what is the difference between them? Seems the mpfi pumps are quite a bit cheaper than the spfi pumps and I just cant see spending around $200 on a pump if I can get one that will work fine for $90! the original pump had rust issues - got a used one but not in much better shape and suspicious of it not operating correctly - barely any fuel reaches the throttle body. looking to get a new one, but geez are they expensive! XT Fan
Hey Heartless, Read the 'Similar threads' found by scrolling to the bottom of this screen. I'm pointing you that way because I didn't know the answer and was curious myself. Linda
hush777
Been using a pump off of a 87 turbo mpfi wagon on a loyale spfi wagon for 6 months.... seems to be fine.... mpfi puts out a different pressure but the inline regulator for the fuel rails sets the pressure right.
