Markuss,

You need to recheck that the battery is connected correctly, and that the new cables are as well.

When that's done, open the fuse box under the hood and start checking the large fuses, 50 amp main fuse, and so on down. The large ones are the culprits if nothing electrical on the car works, assuming there isn't a main harness that has melted down. There may also be heavy wires, really fuseable links that have fried and need replacing.

If you can't isolate the items I've suggested here as the problem, .... you will need a good mechanic to trace down your issue. Good Luck!

Yes,I did that. Also checked all the fuses.

Did you hook that lead up to the Positive side?  For sure?

I mean, if it worked before you replaced cables, and now doesn't........then that means you missed something.

Positive cable from battery to starter post?  Small positive lead from battery to fuse box?

Negative cable from battery to bolt at back of engine?

Simple test....using multimeter or test light.   Put + probe on the + battery post, and then put the -(neg) probe to anywhere on the metal of the engine block.  If you don't get a 12v reading.......then the ground cable is not hooked up correctly.

I"d check for voltage with a miltimeter at the Fusebox in the engine compartment, under the drivers side dash and at the starter.

If you have battery voltage at all those locations, with the meter on the starter have someone turn the key to start, does the voltage drop?
