Tireman28
2003 Impreza rs. Round track race car. I race in 3 rd gear at the rev limiter. It literally will blow out 1-2 qts of oil and dump it into the air breather. Any help?

GeneralDisorder
Awsome info GD. Also only other issue I had was the coolant from the system kept filling up the over flow tank That usually means the HG'S are starting to go. Or you have a bad cap. Tireman28
Thought so. I’ll redo them. I had to redo the driver side head last night. But didn’t check the pass side. Plugs looked good on pass side so I assumed. Thanks alot

GeneralDisorder
The head bolts should be fine. Need to machine the heads flat. They are likely cupped. GD
Tireman28
Having them cut back flat today. Idk what happened. I’ve torqued these heads a million times. Not sure what happened. Maybe just the quality of gasket. I had the felpro the first time, then i tried I think the brand was cometic or somthing. The metal shim type. What type of gasket material are the 2004 sti ones u reccomened?

GeneralDisorder
Right on! Glad that worked for you. We go straight to that valve for track cars rather than the air/oil separators that people always want to use. GD
Tireman28
Well I hooked up both together the control valve and the AOS. It’s a freakin complicated setup but man oh man does it work amazing. Now I’m working on a msd dis 2 ignition box to make my rev limiter higher.
