cdn subaru
Just bought my first Subaru! Test drove one years ago, passed for some reason, have always admired. Tested Forester couple weeks back, just bought Outback sedan (1999). Loaded, leather, roof, stunning, great ride. Just saying heh to all.
Commuter
Hello neighbour. Welcome. I just moved from the TO region. I'm in the Niagara area now. I've owned a 97 OB for 5.5 years now. My first Subaru too. I wish you luck... We have the infamous 2.5L Phase I engine. I know all too well the ills of it. Commuter
Chip
Being another Canadian Subie owner, the best advice I can give is "Don't buy parts from the dealer" !!!!!..unless you can't find it elsewhere. Struts at dealer..~$200 Cdn..(each). Struts at 1stsubaruparts.com...$87 U.S...(each). Front rotors @ dealer..$98 each. Front rotors @ Napa..$36 each,(cdn). I've had mine on for ~20,000kms. I'm sure other owners can tell you their own horror stories about Subaru prices...(just pray you never have to change a tranny).
