mkoch
Sigh, this could be an original radiator. The petcock broke, and I was fortunate enough to discover it after only 3 minutes of driving! Is there an easy solution to this?
Naked Buell
I would try heating the area, either with running the engine and watching the temp on car, or with a propane or mapp torch, but before you do that, is there enough material to do a small pilot hole in plastic and then slightly bigger to the point where you can either unscrew it out or carefully break it out and put new one in. mkoch
Thank you, Naked Buell. The broken piece was in there so loosely that I was able to tease it out with a knife point. , just waiting for the part now. Naked Buell
Nice. I never liked those. Plastic! Really people. With the heat and then cooling off its only a matter of time before they break. I am really gentle with mine. Glad it worked out.
