ronigirl29
I just picked up RoseRed yesterday she is a 95 legacy lsi that was with the same family and pretty well maintained( also passed Ca smog like a champ) til I found her she has a few minor issues, dings on the door and I need to get tires soon as I live in FarNorCal and winter just roared in .I hear that floor gets wet in front if you drive through puddles and power windows sound cranky and tired ( can I oil them?) she has 225 K but feels like a lot more to go , My aunt has always had at least 1 Subaru in the driveway and I have always wanted one so I'm pretty stoked , have you guys got any suggestions on what I should do first as far as "checking stuff" out ? nipper
If you remove the door cards yes they can be lubed. White lithium grease is your freind. Lubricate everything including the lock cylinders. Are the floors solid? Thats not a usual rust point for Roos. Congrats.

nipper
A typical reason for wet floors is a clogged drain hose from the HVAC core. Extremely common on all cars.
