Subarule
I ran across this blog post by accident while wandering around on the 'net, about an '87 GL-10 wagon. Thought it was kinda' interesting. Decent photos. https://www.autoblog.com/2018/12/12/junkyard-gem-1987-subaru-gl-10-4wd-station-wagon/

Subasaurus
only ever seen a GL-10 once, I regret not pulling those seats out of it, i pulled many things out of it including those 3 point contact door handle/arm rest, i was like eh i'll come back for the seats next weekend, and the car was gone already (crushed and scrapped). still had it's disk brakes that i know many are looking for. That a car in that condition would be allowed to meet it's fate at the hands of a junkyard crusher. One man's trash is another man's treasure, eh? rdweninger
Oh my... has all 4 mud flaps. Somebody in CO needs to 'save' these parts.
el_freddo
That’s not a true GL10. Stickers on the rear doors don’t mean a thing, and the fact it’s a carb engine says it all really. Bogus GL10. The author doesn’t know much about the good ol’ L series. Dual range was pretty much a standard option in the series II. Bogus info, but a clean looking unit none the less. Crazyeights
I have a real 1989 GL-10 and it has an EA82T with a 4EAT. I really like it even if it is hard to get parts for. Mine says "4WD Turbo" on the sides but it doesn't actually say GL-10 on the body. It does say it on the title though. Nice cars

DaveT
The picture shows an engine with the air cleaner for a naturally aspirated carburetor engine. Turbo were fuel injection. All of the gl 10s I saw were turbo. But I have not seen many.
Subarule
They were not all turbo. I think the carbed ones were much more common.

The ONLY GL10s I’ve ever known, seen or heard of were turbo. This is the first non turbo one I’ve seen. Unless someone’s done a dodgy and slipped a replacement carb engine in there, this goes against what everyone knows a GL10 to be. Subarule
Sure are a lot of carbs for sale online for '87 GLs.
Subarule
The photo under the hood has a carb setup exactly like my 86 GL wagon. It was always my understanding that a GL 10 was just a trim upgrade on the GLs, a few more goodies, nothing to do with under the hood.
BRATATAT
What junkyard is this in? I'm in Denver right now and need the shifting linkage!
