KiwiBrumby
The heater control tap on my '84 Brumby is leaking. It's down on the top of the frame just about above the left drive-shaft, it's bolted to the top of frame, it has two hoses going in from the motor and two going out to the heater and has a rubber cover over it. Anybody know a source of one, preferably new.
el_freddo
I’ve heard of some Aussie members modifying the all plastic VT commodore unit to do the job in the brumby. Unfortunatley I don’t have pics, nor have I seen any of this mod. Cheers Bennie
lrgvanman
I am in the USA and have a similar problem with my 1984 GL wagon. Pretty much universal around that time frame but seems parts are really getting scarce. My needs are not immediate and I wish you the best of success. Steptoe
The GM-H Commodore tap is not made for cable control as it has a vacuum servo canister but has the four tubes to connect up. It is a shame an MGB or Mustang tap does not fit - as you almost buy every conceivable part for these things!
moosens
There’s a few heater valves out there , even for the previous Gen. Be patient but persistent. I have first gens. Outside chance I might be able to find a second gen in my stuff.
