2019CrosstrekOwner
Hi, I just bought a 2019 Crosstrek. I love it so far. Does anyone know how to disable to Seatbelt Warning Chime? I emailed Subaru and they told me to ask the dealer. I asked the dealer and the method they told me (buckling and unbuckling the seatbelt 20 times in 30 seconds, etc) did not work. Does anyone know how to disable this function? Thanks very much in advance, Jason
Subasaurus
instead of modifying such a new vehicle, why not just buy one of those fake snap in seat belt things on ebay? it's just the end piece of the seatbelt that clicks in to fool the vehicle thinking you're buckled in. ezapar
There are easy videos on youtube on how to go about killing that chime. You can also turn off the beep when you set or turn off your alarm.
ezapar
It might even be in your settings on your head unit.
