2007 Outback Slow Fueling problems

Hi guys it’s been awhile since I’ve been on here.

i just purchased a 2007 Outback 2.5l 

its not allowing fuel in the tank at normal speed. Any ideas what I may need to troubleshoot or replace. Thanks

probably a clogged evap 'drain' hose or malfunctioning/stuck evap valve.

Try a search for the problem there are several threads about the issue. Locate the charcoal canister and try fueling with various hoses disconnected, you might locate the area of the problem that way.

Spiders or mud wasps nest in the charcoal canister vent line/fitting into the frame rail. 

Or an exploded charcoal canister.

Or a failed vent valve.

Had this happen to 3 cars now.

1 98 forester, and 2, 03 Outbacks.

all 3 were fixed by replacing the charcoal canister.  

Not sure if it was the canister, the valve, or what but simply replacing the unit solved it.

Thanks guys I replaced the charcoal canister but haven't had a chance to test it out yet.

I found a donor car for it.

Now i just need to fix all the other bugs!

• air bag light and alarm
• heated seats don't work
• check engine light
• dim passenger headlight
• sticking front calipers (machine rotors rust pitting)
• passenger door power window motor
• replace the driver side passengers door (dented from accident)

The car sat for 3 years and has several issues I'm sure there is more that i haven't found yet.

i replaced the whole charcoal canister and if that didn't fix it ill try your suggestion. thanks!
