Leebo
So I finally got around to putting 1.5” spacers on my 86 gl10 that has a 2 inch lift both on the motor and on the transmission. The car has not been. run since the install. I noticed as I was installing coolant started leaking on Driver side. It is dripping from timing belt cover. Any input is mush appreciated! I have never had this thing overheat on me
carfreak85
Water pump sprung a leak, perhaps?
Steptoe
Thermostat gasket and that bastard of a rubber coolant hose between block and thermostat housing can also bust a leak, sneak down and drip from timing belts to make it look like water pump leak. I think we all need cooling system pressure test kits
Leebo
Thanks for the responses! At least I have some where to start. I’ll be sure to post what I find...once it stops snowing. Gotta love fall in Montana! At least the hunting is good.
