Pisspoormechanic
I've been working on my loyale for a few weeks and I did a engine rebuild, made sure to get the correct timing and have been having spark from my distributor (in what I saw was the correct firing sequence) but it just won't fire up, I got a new starter for it too. Something else that I see as an issue is that when I turn over the engine the fuel gets sucked in through the tbi but then shoot back up and out of the throttle body. Any information that could help would be greatly appreciated.
wagons
If its popping back through the throttle thats a timing issue. Make sure your plug wires are going to the right cylinder from the correct post on the distributor. I am 5300FT elevation with a Weber so i set my timing at about 16° without Vaccuum hooked up. DaveT
Did you do fat the crank one full revolution before installing the second timing belt?
