92bluesubaru
Hey everyone, I've been lurking on these forums for years. I really appreciate all the knowledge everyone has shared. It has helped me keep my daily drivers in top shape (1990 and 1992 Loyale wagons). I'm making my first post today because I've recently decided to sell my 1987 GL wagon. It's a real junker, so this is probably a long shot, but I'm hoping someone not too far away from me could use the engine and or transmission, which I think are the best parts about it. I've stubbornly kept it in my yard for 10 years thinking that I might fix it up one day, but I don't seem to be able to devote much attention to it. The engine is a carbureted EA82. The transmission is a 5 speed dual range selectable FWD / 4WD / 4WD low. As far as I can tell there's nothing wrong with the transmission, CV axles, and wheel bearings. The tires are old but they hold air. The windshield has a crack. Half the exhaust system is missing. The rear shocks are junk. It's rusty. It's dirty inside and out. It's in rough shape. I might be forgetting something. See pics. I've owned it for about 10 years. I used to drive it here and there, but it developed some sort of carburetor problem, so I parked it until I could figure it out. That was about 8 years ago - I've been unable to devote the attention to it that it needs. If anyone is interested in a project or parts for an existing project, I'll take $500 for it. I would really prefer to sell the whole thing instead of parting it out, but I'm open to offers. I'm located in Grifton, NC (zip: 28530) Mileage: 193,848 Edited January 10, 2020 by 92bluesubaru

loyalematt
I am interested, but 275 miles away on the VA/NC border closer to the west end of the state. No way to haul it back. If you have a way to deliver it, I would definitely be willing to discuss it. Edited January 29, 2020 by loyalematt
