Today was the day to get on with some  necessary engine work.  The 150,000-mile EJ202 has been stuttering at low revs and generally felt sluggish. The PO told me that the CEL light came on every so often due to the plugs needing renewal. I quietly wondered why he hadn’t done it.  The leads are brand new NGK, and the distributor has been replaced by an aftermarket one.
