Tarleto1984
After looking around I have found a few discussion on headlights. However my problem I guess is unique. Ok so I bought this fun wagon a few weeks ago. It has been more work then I thought. Which is no problem I enjoy working on older cars. My new problem is headlights. The guy I bought it from said that only the high beams worked. Which when turned on, that is true. Started to test the connector at the low beam light and I do not have any power coming from it. All the relays and fuses are good as far as I know. When flipped to the High Beam position all the lights come on. When its flipped to low beams, all the lights go out. naru2
Check the dimmer switch. The dimmer switch grounds the red/black low beam wire to activate the low beams. There should be power at the low beam connector (red -RH,red/blue LH)anytime there is power at the high beam connector on the same side regardless of dimmer switch position. If not,The harness is broken.
