Chance
Has anyone tried ATV rims on the 4x140 Subarus. CAN-AM bolt pattern is 4x137, it dosent seem 3mm would make that much difference.
el_freddo
Just no. 3mm is a lot when it comes to bolt patterns. This idea is all kinds of wrong. Cheers Bennie
Chance
Im not talking about smashing them together and running them as is. Im looking to see how much of a problem it would be to have them properly clearanced. I will check it out and post what i find. Just curious and in no way recommended something sketchy or dangerous. I don't think an idea can be wrong, just the application of the idea. Stay tuned, it may not lead to anything, but i will look into it.
turbodog
clearing the brakes is the next concern, im curious if it would work, but i would think using 4 15" spare rims would be more practical with skinny tractor tires
Chance
Im not talking about small 4wheelers here. Im talking about the large side by sides that are larger and heavier than Brats. They have a huge selection of 14in custom rims and DOT aproved tires.

newmexguy
Darn. Have to wonder why their "engineers" chose 137 mm for the bolt pattern. Why not "round" off to a whole number?
1 Lucky Texan
get an adapter? http://tireshopsupplies.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=41_302&products_id=4797 https://www.uswheeladapters.com/wheel-adapters/ Edited December 29, 2020 by 1 Lucky Texan
Chance
Thats an awesome deal. You can order them thicker too, to get them to clear in the rear.
el_freddo
Can you get these rims without the bolt pattern drilled before purchase? Then have a shop drill to 4x140. Interesting you have ATVs that are heavier than the Brat! Cheers Bennie
turbodog
you know, ive seen wheels before that had a universal lug pattern, and it was slotted, very strange, and i couldnt see why that wouldnt work on these too
Chance
All my neighbors have big UTVs. We all curious about the brat. Im at work in the gulf of Mexico and i wont be back until the 6th.
el_freddo
And the Brat weighs in at what, 2000-2200 pounds? (I’m having to convert in my head as I think they’re about 1050kg from memory). Cheers Bennie
