DaveT
Try extremely slowly opening the throttle. To check if the accelerator pump is working. You can do this in neutral, parked. The accelerator pump squirts gas down the throat whenever the gas pedal is pressed. Usually it can be seen if you look down to the throttle plate, and open the throttle. @.Gibby_Dixon
It does spray but not much ive rebuilt the carburetor and if I take the top of the carb off and plug the top of the jet with my finger it works perfectly but when the carburetor is fully assembled it doesn't fully spray fuel the accelerator pump is new so I'm at a loss
Dee2
Is this a sudden new problem, or has it been getting progressively worse ? Have you checked the fuel filter(s) ? Checked for fuel line restrictions ?
DaveT
Possibly the check valve for the accelerator pump is stuck or missing?
