xenongod
I have 7 wires total that go to the coil...one is obvious where it goes...the six small ones are the ones in question. On a 1981 GL Wagon...which go to +pos and which go to -neg? Maybe I have these wrong and that's why I am not getting a charge from the alternator. Making separate posts for different solutions to my problem because no one is answering my previous posts. Narrow this down some how...eh? Let me know...thanks! xenongod
Okay now...I got the one w/ the resistor placed correctly now...and no progress...no charge. I still have one wire...black w/ red stripe that is also going to the positive side of coil which is unaccounted for...any clue? If this all sounds like it is correctly done...then I guess it might be time to try to find a new VR and alternator. Thanks!! Xenongod
