FL$ubietech
Towed in with rod knock, tech replaced short block and timing cover, came back in 30 days P0420 cat was clogged tech replaced Catalytic converter and AF and O2 sensor, came back again 30 days with running rough missfire codes and he tried selling plugs coils and induction service, declined repairs, came back 10 check engine code P0340 P0302 and P0303 tech replaced the cam sensor bank1 intake sensor and the camshaft sprocket still has the same codes and still runs rough at idle ONLY COLD, meaning it has to sit overnight, now I have been given the car to figure out, but the code flow chart is straight forward and the resistance and voltage test for both left bank and right are the same, pin1 is battery voltage and the schematic shows they are both on the same circuit intake cam position sensor bank one and two also share ground on pin 3 the only wire is not shared is pin 2 5 volt signal wire that reads 5.24 on both left and right intake cam position sensor also the ECM to Cam sensor wires are ,2 ohms on the wiring between the sensor connector and the ECM, nothing I can find shows the cause for the repetitive P0340 cold. Any thoughts or inputs would be greatly appreciated as TECH assist was not help

1 Lucky Texan
maybe engine temp sensor is bad? if the ECU doesn't know the engine is cold, it won't 'choke' (increase injector time).
