Mj907
I just changed my water pump and noticed when i pulled the radiator the two outlets on the drivers side of the radiator between the overfill hose and the outlet hose didnt have any hoses attached, i dont have A/C. Looking at a diagram of the radiator i dont see what would connect to these two outlets? Ive put about 4000 miles on this car since ive bought it, never saw any leaks from them. Should I plug them or am I missing something?
el_freddo
They’re the auto fluid heat exchange ports. You’ve got a manual, pretty standard practice to drop an auto radiator into a manual as a replacement. Nothing to stress about. ferp420
i think all ea82 radiators have those ports if you can even find one for a ea82 at all it dosent make sense to manufacture a 2 different radiators for 1 vehicle especially one thats a rare 80 modle disposable econo box
newmexguy
Have a older replacement copper/brass job, near new, a few cosmetic blems. Available. Would imagine anything available now is aluminum with plastic tanks.
