Dr. RX
Bummer I can't find my tool to confirm this, but I believe the tool needed to remove the stub axles from the rear diffs is this one from Snap-on, http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/pro_det.asp?P65=&tool=all&item_ID=14957&group_ID=2358&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog , is this the correct tool??? Caboobaroo
That should be the one, I don't know if it is deep enough. If you can find one that is 1/4" drive, it will work better as it's small enough to get down inside the axle stub. I used an 8 point 8mm 1/4" drive deep well craftsman socket last time I had to pull stubs, you just have to be careful not to round it off! Qman
Yes, that is it. Most tool truck sellers refer to these as air bag sockets.
chef_tim
From memory that sounds very correct. I'd go and look at mine but it's dark out and I'd never find it in the bottem of the tool pit. Later, Tim
