Yep, that's Danish taxes for you...Our registration fees are so high that the importers have the cheapest raw price for cars. Meaning that smart people outside buy their cars here and then tax them at home.

Basic reg. fee is 180% of the value of the car. On top of that, we have Value Added Tax (or GST), at 25%. So, buying a car here means you are actually paying for three :-(

Last - socialist - government had even more "environmental" tariffs added, which has hiked up the prices even further.

Congratulations on the new car, by the way! :-)

during my trip to germany....i seen a total of maybe 12 in all my travels...from frankfurt, to Duesseldorf, to Duisburg, then to Trier. I caught a GLANCE of an impreza, GDB chassis, all dressed up in the 555 WRC livery. The rest were older legacys (including Marnix's track toy) a turbo forrester, a few imprezas, and ONE loney SVX...and ONE lonely Leone wagon....but it was turbo, and Full Time 4WD D/R and center difflock. It was at Touring wagon too!

Ooooo i totally dig the carbon fiber dash... that looks rad. I see you have a nice lookin stereo too and it got me to wondering... what kind of music does italy listen to on its bumpin cd players. Im not trying to be stereotypical but i just think of the typical music i hear in a movie while in italy and i cant picture it being blasted on a cd player haha. Fill me in im curious.
