Lately Ive had alot more rolling restiance like something is holding the car back.... I know that ive got one front DOJ with a bad boot and its starting to make angry noises...and the rear DOJs need some attention....
DrKrazy
How do you know when you've totally toasted the front wheel bearings? Lately Ive had alot more rolling restiance like something is holding the car back.... I know that ive got one front DOJ with a bad boot and its starting to make angry noises...and the rear DOJs need some attention.... I tend to use the old jack it up and place a hand on the top of the tire and on the bottom and wiggle it. Should not click or have any movement, also spin the tire while jacked up and listen for grinding noises..not good. The wiggle is a good test of your ball joints too. Just went through the back bearings on my DL for the same reason.
