75skunkaroo
i looked at some of the pics of gen 1 cars and the brochures in the old gallery, and i can't seem to find any others with it. anyway, my question is, is the trim on my wagon(rubber bumper style) stock, a dealer add-on, or something someone rivited on later on. -mike
Sweet82
It was a popular add on in those days. If you look at the cars in the brochures, none of them have the trim. I believe it was put on by most dealers when the cars were new, but could have been put on by anyone. I like the trim, it serves it purpose well. My car accumulated only a couple door dings in its 20+ years with the trim on. My .02 Glenn 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester

spanky_pete
Ok not to threadjack, but what type of GM B-body car is that in the background of the last pic? I was thinking '70 Chevelle but the grille and bumper look odd. Good luck with the paint on the wagon, should look real good when it's all done.
