[HTi]Johnson
Ok. Would an EA81 3AT 4WD driveline and crossmember fit in place of an EA81 4spd D/R 4WD driveline and crossmember?
78TurboBrat
I know its not completely related, but i did take a 3at from an 87 turbo wagon and put it into a 83 brat that needed a tranny desperately. the only thing i saw was that the crossmember from the brat had to be used and that the mounting holes were different, so i had to drill new ones in the brat crossmember. again though this is going from a ea82t to an ea81 and a wagon to a brat, but everything else was fine. baccaruda
should fit fine, you'll need linkage and console and electronics and a radiator that accepts the lines to cool the trans (or else mount a cooler somewhere else), maybe other stuff? i don't know much about the autos. also a pedal rack. [HTi]Johnson
I was wanting to take the 3AT out and put the 4spd MT in
GeneralDisorder
Yes, but you also need the leading rod plates, and the cross-member, as the A/T isn't he same. Pedal box, clutch cable, flywheel, clutch, interior consoles, shift linkage, etc, etc GD
