Squid2
Everything ive seen about this is all 8+years old with outdated links. Been trying to find a fuel pump, grabbed the f150 inline pump like suggested in loads of other posts on here. I cant find the carter p5000 thats also been named. Owners manual says 36-50psi Pump i got (pfp e16020) says 44-99psi. Sounds too powerful to me but Its the one that came up for the f150 at the store. Safe to use? Or is it gonna blow out my lines? el_freddo
The fuel pressure regulator is responsible for the fuel pressure. Those stats on the pump just say what it’s capable of. The fuel pressure regulator will monitor the pressure correctly as it falls within the range on the pump’s details. I’d run that pump.
