marcinczyk
picked up a ECU from the junkyard.... part number 22611aa383 F when I took my old one out it had the same number but without the "F" on it. Anyone know the difference between the two? When I installed the new one...the car started right up..but I am a bit concerned that it is not the same and I might experience something new down the road as a result. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Marty
Legacy777
The F isn't part of the part number, so you have the same computer.
ststephen
I have found that sometimes a different letter of that sort is due to either a different factory of manufacture or a "revision" letter for the part. I just saw that with a fuel pump for my wife's car, I replaced a XXXXXXXac with a XXXXXXXaf. The "af" was the newest revision of that part, as the aa-ae were crap. I wouldn't worry...
