subynut Posted August 19, 2004 Share Posted August 19, 2004 Yes, it can be plated over. I tried running without the egr back when I was running the hitachi carby. Really didn't notice any differance in power or throttle response. I did bypass it when I put the Weber in. Still hasn't gotten plated over yet, it's just sitting dormant 4 now.
