86surfwagon
how hard is it to transplany a 2.2 into a 1.8 car? does it require changing the tranny too? i suppose so, i can get a 93 legacy w/ blown AT for 500 bucks, with a good engine, is it worth the trouble? i could use the updated seats etc, but its hard to decide which body of car to keep the legacy or the 86 gl.... if so, how much would it cost to replace the legacy transmission? forget about it, the GL is way better! haha
calebz
its been done, the EJ motor will not bolt up to the EA tranny without an adapter. You need the wole wiring harness for the motor. A search of the USMB will yield quite a bit of info on it PS, your sig says "Dual Range AWD" or something like that.. Just a little info. If you have a factory 86 D/R, its not AWD.. its 4WD
