Adam N.D.J.
Ohkay, I've run into a little problem here, I knew that that ER27 had a different tensioner set up than the EA82, but didn't know exactly how to work with it. Welp, I've dove into the motor, head first without checking the depth first. Everything went fine untill I went to put the right (drivers) belt on, and I have no idea how to collapse the adjuster to get the new belt in there. I don't have a book that covers XT-6's and no on in town has one in stock, I need to get this put together TOMARROW!!! (only 3 shopping days untill WCSS!). I remember'd picking up a PDF of the factory manual covering the engine a while ago, but after checking the computers it doesn't seem to be on either!! If anyone has this it would help immensly!! Thank for the help though.

calebz
Try this. It isn't the FSM, but it has the ER27 timing belt procedure. http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker?ForwardPage=az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/1c/5d/d5/0900823d801c5dd5.jsp BTW, I have the EA82 FSM PDF. I don't know where it was hosted, but I can find a way to get it to you if you have messenger or something.
XSNRG
The tensioner has a plug on the bottom, remove the plug and with a small screwdriver you can turn a little screw inside and colapse it. The is a holder to hold it in that position but you can improvise.
