I had an issue with the ACC feed to the fuse block, and it cause me to burn through 3 alts in 4 months. I cut the main feed for the ACC group , and used a relay triggered from the normal ACC feed, and used a wire direct from the battery to the relay to then power the ACC group on the panel Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

MorganM Posted August 25, 2004 Share Posted August 25, 2004 The electrical schimatic for these things hurts my brain to look at. Just pop the hood and start finding them. There are TONS of them. Follow wires that are just bolted down to the body/frame/engine... those are the grounds How old is that battery? Might have a wussy battery thats over working your alternator all the time. Puts a lot more stress on the alternator if its trying to charge a worn out battery AND run all yoru accessories. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
