WJM
Ok, so i was looking thru th SUBARU Electronic Parts Catalog (SEPC) and I could not find the AC-PS-Water Pump belt tesnioner for the XT's...as mine decided to go ape $hit on me this morning on the way to work and i lost a belt too. So...you'ev got to get into the old AC book and look under the XT coupe section/Hitachi compressor...and there it is, a SOA number. Still 600 of them left in the country...bracket/pully assy. Its not that bad...only 40~50 USMB cost. Mine should be here tomorrow....then i can have my belts back right! Anyhow...back to t3h BS.... Gen3 EA82 control arms...2wd/4wd/auto/manual doesnt matter, they are all the same. XT too. the XT6...has different part number for them. But, again, 2wd/4wd etc...doesnt matter, all the same. the Q is...are the XT6 control arms LONGER than the EA82 Gen3's???? there are none left in the country for SUBARU, and the price for the pair is over $300...so...if they are logner, I need a pair. Does anyone know?
MilesFox
the difference in the xt6 lower control is the size of the ball joint hole, which is the same as legacys and impreza. but other than that they are the same. on my setup i used ea82 control arms drilled out for the xt6 5 lugs, using the xt6 axle. so by that there is no axle/lower control conflicts between ea82 and xt6
