MorganM
On say a GL10 turbo with four wheel disc brakes. Is there a porportioning valve in the rear? I didn't think OEM 4 wheel disc brakes used one in the rear but porportioned everything up front. I'd look myself but the nearest one is a 2 hour drive accross the state border
GeneralDisorder
Where do I look exactly? I have one on jacks in my driveway right now that I can check for you.... 88 GL-10 sedan... If you have an FSM it should have a diagram of the complete brake system - that's where I looked to see if there was any such thing on the EA81's..... I've done about 8 of the conversions on EA81 vintage cars and never noticed that I might need to change the proportioning valve. All of them have worked just fine along with working better than the original drum rears.
mcbrat
yeah. Jerry (bratsrus1) did some testing of the actuating pressure, and it was the same for the rear ea81 drums as the rear disks, so nothing else had to change....
