pinecone45
Hi I have had a 93 subaru legacy wagon that i have tuned a little... 126,000 miles and i dive her VERY hard... I noticed a while ago that when i put it in first when im moving my gears grind and some times when i power shift in to 2nd there is a very quick grinding noise.... Im pretty shure its that sincros that are done... are there any fixes besides replacing the tranny? any suggustions would be appresiated
Subie Gal
AFTER inspecting the tranny you could possibly just replace the gears that are damaged depends on the damage done and who is doing the work

Subie Gal
93? subaru should still be able to order in specific gears for you but i cannot guarantee that individual gears COULD BE obsolete get me your VIN and i'll check for you.
