fud24682000
1987 GL wagon, 4WD, SPFI. Both my daughter and I were on here a couple of weeks ago to try to get some advice about her engine problems. She got the distributor replaced (including ignition module) and it's running better, though check engine light is still on. I have gone through past posts very carefully and have a Chilton book, but so far, no information I can use about pulling codes. The sticky which apparently covers this is illegible on my computer. My only prior code-pulling experience is on 80's GMs, where you connect A and B terminals and count flashes. Is there something similar with early Subs? Also, is there an OBD-I checker we could buy that will work on Subaru, which has instructions and will give us a list of codes specific to Subaru to try to access?
