banuru
Hello all... This question will probably scream loud and clear just how un-mechanical I am, but I am going to swap the ECU out of a 88 DL for use in another Subie, and the mechanic told me just to unscrew it, located near the steering wheel.... I think I have discovered its location, but does anyone have any general advice on doing this? Is it that cut and dried, just open the panel and unscrew? Any advice would be helpful and relieve the stress of doing this probably very easy task. Thanks all, banuru

banuru
Thanks everyone, that does help to boast my confidence about doing it. I was also thinking that yes indeed disconnecting at the battery first was a good idea. Thanks again, chat ya later, Banuru
