cannonball
How does one go about cleaning the sensor. It seems to me that it doesn't work as good as the manual flip type. Is the green light the actual sensor as well? I don't want to damge it by any means. Would alcohol and a q-tip be safe? Thanx, Charles I need to add that it's a MY2000 OBW Limited FWIW. Hondasucks
Is your back window tinted? If it is, the auto dim won't work. As fro the sensor, I'm not sure, look on the mirror there should be a small hole in the plastic somewhere on the front side (the part you look at) that is the sensor, there might be some junk in there. Setright
The sensor could be behind the plastic, plenty of light passes through plastic, so it doesn't have to have a "window" to see through. Alcohol should be okay, it'll remove grease but won't dissolve the plastic.
