4Sugars
Hi can anyone suggest how I could fix this little Oil leak? If someone could direct me to a link that has had the same prob that would be great. A step by step diagram would be perfect as I do not know much about my gem (YET!)! It doesn't seem like it would be very hard to fix&clean. http://groups.msn.com/ASubaru/shoebox.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=2[/url] http://groups.msn.com/ASubaru/shoebox.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=1 :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:
Turbone
The pics make it hard to tell where the leak is coming from. I would clean the area, then look for where its coming from. Then you can go about fixing it because then you will know whether you need a seal, a sealer, a o-ring or a gasket.

Sweet82
Leak? You call that a leak? That doesn't look like a leak to me! How may Quarts of oil do you add per week? That looks like an extremely slow dribble to me. I recycle my oil from the pan on the floor of my garage Glenn 82 SubaruHummer---AKA leakmobile! 01 Forester---better not be leaking
Bucky92
I go through about a quart a week with my Sub....you get used to the smell and the smoke can be fun at times! Like I said before..I was told by a wise Subaru mechanic...a leaky Subaru is NOT a rusty Subaru:brow: BTW..I am hooked on this forum too!
