Scott
Hello, First time posting. This site is fantastic. I'm glad to see so much support for the Subaru and so many people working together to keep each other happy in their Subies. Yesterday I got in the Forester, turned on the AC and guess what? No fan. I can hear the relay click slightly when I slide the switch for the fan but the fan does not go. I checked the resistor in the fan box, looked for blown fuses and now am lost. Is this an easy fix? Anyone familiar with this. I have not checked the fan itself as it has not been intermittent or given any problems until today. Please help fast...vacation into South Florida is next week! Thanks! Setright
Could be a number of things. I would suggest removing the glovebox - and any trim panels behind it - to gain access the blower motor itself. You can try to connect it straight to a 12 volt power source and see if it works. If it does, try to trace backwards up to the dash control. The dash is a bit of a pain to take apart.
