1992 Legacy Power Window: Do I have a stripped Gear? What will I need to replace ?

My 1992 drivers side power window stopped working again, 1/2 of way down.

Like before, I pressed down sharply on the top edge of the window, and then it I heard the sound of the window snapping back into what ever it had popped out of.

 

I was then able to power the window up/closed. But now the window will only power down 5-6"...then it makes the sound of a gear slipping (like a gear is slipping against a stipped out gear track???)

 

1). Any one know what I should be looking for or at, when I get into the door

 

2). Any one know what I will likely need to replace...?

 

3). Where will I find this/these parts be? (Ebay or wrecking yard or...?)

 

4). Any advice on how to get the door panel off..to get to this worn part...?
