SubeeTed
1997 Legacy GT Wgn, power sun roof. Ok....................... so I cleaned my drains! Not much there! I have a pitch to my driveway, so when I did the pour the water next to the rails thing, I made sure that I only poured in the apropriate down-hill direction! They all seemed fine! Now it rained yesterday eve..! My car is parked pointing uphill! I get in it this AM, put my had in front of passengers visor.....WET!!! SOoooooooooooooo it must be the other rotten problem!!!! Dried out sealer underneath my rails!!!!! I've done the searches! I went to Legacy BB, were thier is now a DEAD link to a set-by step fix for this problem!! Can any of this sealing done from above? OR, is the ONLY way to fix, is to drag down the head liner!!?? I was told that you could fix from above.....just SIMPLY loosen rail screws, convince silicone under rails? How many screws are there? Just were are they? YA! I know this is a common problem! I wish there was a one stop clearing house on how to fix this!!! Dealers SUCK!!! Setright
Nuts are visible from above, on the rails. Rear one is hard to get at, and I suggest leaving it alone. Remove the two front nuts and apply seal.
