onecrf
First of all thanks to all that have replied to my previous questions, your help has been invaluable,in particular Miles Fox. What i basically have here is an 86 turbo Wagon, your equivelant of a gl-10 i think. Ive pulled the blown turbo motor and have bolted an Ea81 carbed motor in. But the Clutch isnt working, which is to say its engaged and wont disengage. I swapped turbo clutch including thrust bearing but not the flywheel, the flywheels looked the same. Also,ea81 distributor to ea82 coil, four wires in a block, none of the colours match, nore do the blocks, how do i match em up,other than guessing? MilesFox
i got your email i read that you used the ea82 flywheel and it was all good, after grinding the bellhousing as far as the coil and all the extra wiring, all you had to do was hook up the distributor and leave all the other wiores alone. the ecu will just be hangin out, and the distributor itself will trip the coil to fire, rather than the ecu signal and the amplifier(the little transistor on the bracket) glad to see you got this to work considering it was only an idea when i first read your posts asking of the idea(ea81 motor in an ea82T car)
