A hello from Flin Flon

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to say to hello to the group. I drive an 03 impreza ts in the cold climate of northern manitoba. I love working on my subaru as much as I love driving it! I'm always interested in spare wrx or sti parts, so if you are doing any mods, please offer to sell me your old parts.

Any other manitobans on this site????

Darryl

Nice to meet you and welcome to the board. If you like working on and driving subaru's, then this is the site for you. There are many knowledgeable people here, and are willing to help out. There are a few people from Canada here, check the "Members" section for some people in the area. Or just wait and let them answer for themselves!:)

Good to hear your interest! Here's a photo taken at Wolverine Lake, near Amisk lake, Saskatchewan. (near the northern villiage of denare beach saskatchewan, canada) The lake is only accessible through portage. The car is obviously in deep snow but had no problem in the 2-feet of snow and the steep portage.

If you're wondering about the rims, they are part of an impreza TS special edition package including alloy rims, fog lights, and spoiler.

Sorry 'bout the picture quality, the thing will only let me upload 640 by 480. Know how to do it different?

Darryl

Hey Darryl,

Flin Flon eh? Isn't that were the gov grows their Med. pot in a mine? I don't know about Manitobans' but there are roughly a dozen BC people on the board. Mostly Old Gen. I used to take my 4wd wagon out on the sand dunes north of Fort McMurray in the winter, the only time they were firm enough for me to get anywhere. Getting stuck in -40c can be lethal if you are unprepared but after a couple of months of living in work camps I had to get away. Got any more pics? :burnout:
